Two of the homes sold were new construction and one was a resale. 1092 Adams Point Drive sold for $227,000, built in 2014 this 2360 square foot home has three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. The home has a loft and an unfinished third floor with almost 500 additional square feet. 129 Fawn Hill Court sold for $244,000, built in 2007 this home has 2860 square feet with four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. A meticulously well kept home that was on a large .60 acre lot that had a privacy fence.
648 Fieldtrial Circle was built in 2014 and sold for $353,000. The home has 3259 square feet of living space, four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms. A unique feature with this home was the fact that it had two master suites, one down stairs and one up. The type of feature that is becoming more and more popular these days. This home had lots of upgrades such as a stone front exterior, hardwood floors, granite counter tops.
Average Price Of Homes Sold In Adams Point
The new homes that sold in Adams Point in December had an average sales price of $102 a square foot with a low of $96 and a high of $108. There are currently 14 new homes for sale ranging in price from $220,030 to $364,900 and in size from 1915 square feet with three bedrooms to 3450 square feet and four bedrooms four bathrooms. Most of the homes have been on the market less than two months. With new construction the days on market is not when the house was finished but rather when the agent entered the home in the Triangle Multiple Listing Service. If the agent entered the house for sale at the framing stage it will probably take 30-60 more days for the home to be completed. Each builder and agent is different. With resales the days on market is from the day the house was listed for sale. The resale home sold in December sold for $85 a square foot and there are only two resale homes on the market currently at an average of $102 square foot.

Adams Point has a good selection of homes for sale, 3,4, and 5 bedroom homes are normally available. There are lots of floor plans to choose from, between a number of local and national builders. There is a community pool and clubhouse and the HOA dues are currently $600 a year. Conveniently located just minutes from the bustling and growing area known as 40/42, there are lots of stores, supermarkets and restaurants. Interstate 40 is a main transport route for commuters to Raleigh, Research Triangle Park and points east to Interstate 95 and the beach.
Adams Point has a Garner mailing address but is in Johnston County so the schools are on the traditional calendar and at the moment the schools serving the subdivision are

When buying a home in Adams Point or any subdivision for that matter always check with the Johnston County School system if that is important to you. The Wake and Johnston County areas are growing tremendously and school assignments do change although not as frequently in Johnston County.
