How Are Johnston County Schools
What’s great about Johnston County Schools is the fact that each school has a boundary map where they pull their students from. So if school choice is a priority for you and where you live and you found the right house for you you can look at the map and you’ll be able to see if it is in the boundary map for the school. Keep in mind that Johnston County is growing and especially the Clayton area which is the fastest growing part of the County so the maps could change as new schools are built. Always call the school of your choice before you make an offer on a home and confirm it is in the correct school district.

A recent study found that in the future there would need to be relief for Archer Lodge Middle, a new middle school in the Powhatan area, expanding Cleveland and Corinth Holders High schools, a new elementary school for the area around West View and Polenta Elementary and a new elementary school in the Flowers Plantation area of Clayton.
