Knightdale Station is the largest master planned community in the growing town of Knightdale. With plans for over 800 homes ranging in price from $280,000. In the initial phase the developers have chosen three North Carolina based builders to build single family homes in two neighborhoods, Penn Station and Union Station. The homes available have three, four and five bedrooms and range in size from around 2150 square feet to 3550 square feet. Typical features of these homes include stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, tile in the bathrooms and carpet in the bedrooms. The community is situated next to the Knightdale Station Park which the town opened phase one in 2013. A short walk from the neighborhood is the YMCA and Aquatics Center. The huge pool area is open and the YMCA which will eventually cover over eight acres. This is just the first phase of what is supposed to be lots of activity and fitness programs you would expect from the YMCA of the Triangle. There is a private school Thales Academy currently under construction scheduled to open in 2016. This will be Thales sixth Triangle location and the school will offer classes in K-3 and add a grade each year until it’s at K-5.
