More Neighborhoods For Clayton & Garner
We have added four more neighborhood pages to our ever expanding list of subdivisions in Clayton, Garner, Knightdale and beyond. The point of our community pages is to give home buyers a better feel for the neighborhoods with information about the amenities offered, the schools for the neighborhood, distance to shopping, dining and commute times to places of employment. It’s very easy to find all the homes for sale online and on your phone but most of the time the only information you will get is about the home. There might be some generic school reports and recent sales pulled from the tax records, but most home buyers want to know more about the neighborhood which is just as important as the home.
What Can Community Pages Tell You About A Neighborhood
The first thing we do when creating a community page is to drive the neighborhood, take pictures of some of the homes for sale, the pool and or clubhouse, maybe there is a playground and the entrance sign. From there we locate the nearest supermarkets, shopping centers and distance to the highways. In Johnston County we can go on the JCSS website and pull up the boundary maps for the nearest schools and confirm that the streets in the neighborhood are included. In new communities this is not always available but once you know the location of the neighborhood you can find the school. We always advise home buyers who want their kids to go to a particular school to confirm that that school is the one for the neighborhood they are buying in.
An Overview Of Each Neighborhood
Some of the new neighborhoods added to Clayton’s growing list may only have one or two homes for sale and occasionally no homes for sale which is why we try to have pictures of the types of homes for sale in that neighborhood. Other neighborhoods have many homes for sale and plenty to choose from. Each neighborhood page gives an overview of the price range you might expect the homes to sell for, the size range of the homes, number of bedrooms and the size of the lots. If it is a newer community with new construction we will list the typical features found in the homes.
Homes On The Market If Any
The slideshow above is of the homes currently on the market in Cooper Farms which we create for each neighborhood we also create a link that will show all the homes for sale in that neighborhood. In case there are no homes for sale in this particular neighborhood and to provide some options for home buyers we typically will add a link to similarly priced homes in the area.
Neighborhoods In Clayton & Garner Added To Our Website
In the latest installment of neighborhoods added to our community pages we have three from Clayton and one from Garner. Ellington is a subdivision in the town of Clayton which typically will not have a lot of homes for sale at any one time and the homes sell fairly quickly if they are in good condition. This subdivision is completed so the only homes that do come on the market will be resales. Cooper Farms is a neighborhood where the majority of the homes are already built but there are some remaining lots and they are builders building new homes on those lots today. The Creeks at Millstone is just down Covered Bridge Road from Cooper Farms and is similar in that there is the original phase of homes built around 2007 and newer homes built between 2014 and 2015. Kyndal is a Garner neighborhood that could easily be in Clayton as it is just off HWY 42W and is about the same distance to each town. Kendal like the others mentioned has homes built some years back and lots of new homes built in 2014 and 2015 and they will be building for some time.

Many of these folks have never been to North Carolina and most likely don’t know much about Clayton or Garner, Raleigh or Knightdale or the neighborhoods in these towns. They may be definitely moving for a job or to be near family or might just be thinking of moving to Clayton, NC. They typically find us when they are searching a particular topic related to living in Clayton or the Triangle or they find homes for sale in Clayton on Zillow or Realtor.com and want to learn more about the neighborhood the house is in. If its in one of the towns we have a page for they can get tons of information about the history, jobs, economy, shopping, parks in the town. Obviously if they are already in Clayton or Garner, Smithfield or Wendell they have an idea of what the town has to offer ( although there is a lot about these towns many folks don’t know about) these could be people looking to move to a bigger/smaller home. They could be people who are thinking of selling their home in Clayton and want to see what homes are for sale in their neighborhood and what they are selling for which we cover in our market reports. Many of our visitors are exploring the area as they hear about how affordable housing is compared to other parts of the Triangle and want to learn more. As the eastern part of the Triangle gets ready to grow this will only continue and I suspect we will be adding many more neighborhoods to our growing list.
