If you live outside the town limits you will pay the Johnston County tax rate and utilities and services will vary depending on the subdivision you choose. It is also possible to have a Clayton mailing address but be within the Archer Lodge town limits. Flowers Plantation is the largest development with a Clayton mailing address but is not inside the town limits.
